The Wave - Intrepid design - $350

This is a knife made for guys with big hands. The blade is made of one of the absolute top knife steels available - MagnaCut steel. Just the uncut square blank of MagnaCut steel cost about $130 before shipping and tax. Hence the price of the knife. The blade is in my Intrepid design.

The handle is made of 62 individual blocks of wood. Each one was hand sanded and measured with a caliper to get the exact size so all of the intersecting lines would line up. There is a brass liner between the knife handle steel and the handle wood to add a touch of class.

The wood I used was aged American Red Oak and American Maple. It has hidden pins and is lined with brass.

Beautiful enough to be your favorite dress knife.

Lastly, it does not come with a sheath. Admittedly I am not good at making leather sheaths. A knife like this deserves a custom made sheath from one of the pro sheath makers around.
