However, due to the premium-grade metal, advanced handle construction, and the extra craftsmanship involved, the LEO Intrepid comes at a higher production cost. To make its quality more accessible, I offer the Civilian Version—CV-LEO—a knife that retains nearly all the elite attributes of the original at a more affordable price.

CV-LEO: Built for Excellence

- Superior Blade Steel – Made from CPM 154, an American-crafted powdered metal renowned for its exceptional edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. The blade features a sleek Mill scale finish, enhancing its durability.

- Ultra-Tough Handle – Constructed from Ultrex G-10, the same base material used in the LEO Intrepid. While it lacks the layered rubber grip designed for wet conditions, it maintains incredible strength and is ¼ inch thinner for a streamlined feel.

- Custom-Fit Kydex Sheath – Unlike typical Kydex sheaths that can dull the blade, this sheath features an air gap between the blade point and the Kydex, ensuring lasting sharpness and protection.
